C’mon! Who doesn’t like a Strip Club?

Okay, to be fair, it’s not that kind of Strip Club.

So in the past, I participated in something called the ISR Quickies which was a fun activity on the Indie Spinner Rack podcast forums. I thought SU could adopt the idea and have some fun with it.

The original idea is a simple one – One person comes up with any theme or idea and draws a three-panel strip. The next person has to draw another three-panel strip continuing the story however they want, then the next cartoonist follows it with another three-panel strip further continuing the story and so on and so on until it either all falls apart or comes to a hilarious conclusion. Strips can be done in any style or medium, the only real “rule” is that no strip should take more than one hour to complete, give or take.

Obviously this activity is a little tougher for the writers in the group, but if any writers do want to join in, they’re more than welcome. Use stick figures, clip art, Photoshop, repurpose old comic book art, whatever…just create a strip!

The first round of Strip Club will start on Friday. Anyone who wants to participate should respond to this post or on the SU Facebook page no later than midnight Thursday. I will post a list of participants so everyone knows who they’re following.

Let’s get drawing!
